Equalizer 3 is an action thriller wherein Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) plays the role of a retired U. S. Marine and former DIA officer who just wanted to live the normal life in an Italian town. However, members of the Camorra, a violent crime syndicate, are terrorizing the villagers with an aim of kicking them out so that they can develop the piece of land that the house is sited on.

Feeling the affection for the townspeople owing to his wound received in the foray of a former mission McCall decides to act. He gets in touch with CIA officer Emma Collins (Dakota Fanning) to let her know about the business of the Camorra in drugs. At the same time, the local carabiniere Gio and his family are killed by the Camorra because they try to opose their occupation. McCall meets one of the heads of the syndicate, Marco, shoots him dead when the man fails to get out of the town.

 

The leader of the Cammorra which is Marco’s brother Vincent decides to take action against both McCall’s and Collins’. In the climax, McCall enters Vincent’s home, kills all his security and makes Vincent die from a drug overdose. With the Camorra dismantled McCall returns law and order to the village and with the villagers dances rejoicing at the end of his mission. 

The film is the last in the Equalizer series and gives fans the closure they have been looking forward to in the story of McCall the guardian of justice.
